Lead Reduction – LT Series
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) established an action level for lead in public drinking water at 15 parts per billion per liter. Apart from removing chlorine and reducing unwanted taste & odor from potable drinking water, Clarion LT Series filters substantially reduces lead content to potable levels, whether dissolved or undissolved. Clarion LT Series filters are typically utilized in older homes built prior to 1986 where plumbing solder, house paint and gasoline might contain lead contamination.
